OVERVIEW

The PCM-J1708 is a module that conforms to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J1708 practice for data communications between microcomputer systems in heavy duty vehicle applications. It provides a general-purpose communications link to cost effectively share data among stand-alone systems.

TThe PCM-J1708 provides two independent, non-isolated communication channels for embedded systems that have PC/104 expansion capability. It will operate over an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
